SNA forces in Baardhere call the FGS to release their commander

Somali National Army forces in Baardhere district of Gedo region are asking the federal government of Somalia to release their commander Farah AbdinuurTurbac who is under the custody of the FGS in Mogadishu for the last 20 days.

Farah AbdinuurTurbac the commander of the 43rd division of the Somali National Army was charged over the killings of 6 people who were allegedly linked to Al-Shabaab fighters.

Mohamed Sheikh Ali, one of the officials of the Somali National Army in Baardhere told Goobjoog News that their commander was charged the killings of 6 people who were shot dead without any order from any court.

Mohamed Sheikh Ali and all the Somali National Army forces in Baardhere are demanding the federal government to release the commander.

Hundreds of soldiers Baardhere went on strike for the last days over the arrest of their commander in Mogadishu.
