SNA prevents suicide car bomb attack, Mudug region

The Somali National Army defeated suicide car bomb attack at a base in Ba’adweyn location in Mudug region on Sunday Morning.

According to SONNA report, two army soldiers killed and two others injured in the attack while fighting against the attacked militant in front of the camp.

The Car which was loaded with explosives devices attempted to cross the checkpoint by force, but the army defeated and later exploded at the stage.

Another landmine explosion kills four and left five others injured after two successive an improvised explosive devices (IED) targeted security forces commander at Wanlaweyn district in Lower Shabelle region on Saturday night.

No group has yet claimed the responsibility for the two attacks but government troops suspected Al-Shabab militant group in the region.
