SNA Soldiers And Ahlu-Sunna Fighters Clashed in a brief battle in Mareer-Guur locality

Ahlu SunnaReports from Dhusa-mareeb town indicate that Somali moderate Islamist group, Ahlu-Sunna Waljamaa has launched an operations in the town which it seized two days ago after its fighters engaged gun battle with Somali National Army.
Sources say that the Ahlu-Sunna militias have combed Mareer-Guur locality which prompted brief fighting between Somali government soldiers who had base at the areas and  the Islamist militias.
Speaking to Goobjoog News, Ahlu-Sunna’s spokesman said that they are aiming to recapture all areas that they have lost government soldiers.
The move comes a day after interior minister Abdirahman Mohamed Hussein has came out with smoking gun against the move by Ahlu Sunna fighters to take-over Dhusamareb town.
“This move is well calculated to derail the state formation process in Central region, and we would soon act decisively on this” said the minister in a statement run by the State Radio.
It was 7th this when the fighters from armed group Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jamah has taken over Dhusamareb town from government forces that were controlling the town for the past months.
The fighters moved in to the city without furious resistance from the Somali National Army soldiers who later vacated their bases there.
