Somali army capture Arare and Maleeley villages in Lower Jubba

Somali Army with Jubaland forces has seized  Araare and Maleeley villages following a  fierce battle with Al-Shabaab in the outskirts of Jamame district.

Colonel Idris Kusow Sheikh Abdi told the media that they inflicted heavy losses on the Al-Shabaab militant and defeated their fighters.

Al-Shabaab has begun to flee their stations in Lower Jubba after they faced heavy military confrontation from the Somali National Army and the Darwish forces of the Jubbaland for the last two years.
