Somali leaders in Kismayo to discuss on federalism issues

Consultative forum on federalism is underway in Kismayo in the provincial capital of Lower Jubba region.

The forum which is attended by delegates from regional administrations and federal government was started on Sunday to iron out all federal related issues.

A delegation led by permanent secretary of Somali interior ministry, Yahye Ali Abdirahman  reached kismayo on Sunday morning before the conference kicked off.

At the opening speech of the conference, the president of interim Jubba administration, Ahmed Mohamed Madobe said Somalis should always consult and their problems internally.

The conference is expected to conclude on Tuesday with communique.
