‘Somali man’ stabbed UK MP-police

GOOBJOOG NEWS|LONDON: British national of Somali extract may have  been the attacker who stabbed to death an MP Friday, authorities have said.

According to the UK police, the 25 year old man who was arrested at the scene of the attack is of Somali heritage. British media said the police had declared the killing an act of terrorism.

Sir David Amess, a Conservative MP was stabbed severally by his attacker while addressing his constituents at a church in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex.

Meanwhile Home Secretary Priti Patel has instructed police officers in the UK to review the security of MPs with ‘immediate effect.’
