Somali minister for information holds talks with his Kuwait counterpart

Somali minister for information visited Mohamed Abdi Hayir  Marreye visited Kuwait hold bilateral talks  with Qatar government.

The minister and his delegation were welcomed at Kuwait International Airport  by a Government delegation led by his counterpart minister formation his counterpart Qatar information minister Salman Sabah Al-saalim Alhamud.

Hayir discussed with Qatar information on ways of strengthening media cooperation and exchange experience.

Among the issues discussed Kuwait’s support for Somalia’s information-culture tourism’s message against violence, extremism and terrorism.

The meeting was attended by Somalia’s ambassador to Kuwait, Sheikh Abdikadir Amin and several officials from Somali ministry for information.

This comes less than a month after Somalia signed an Information Executive Program Agreement with Sudan.
