Somali PM Meets His Rwandan Counterpart in Kigali

Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheire held talks with his Rwandan counterpart Edouard Ngirente in Rwandan Capital Kigali.

The two leaders who met last night discussed wide range issues including the bilateral relations of the two countries, economy and security.

Somali PM Kheire has appreciated his counterpart for the warm welcome extended to the Somali delegates.

Mr. Kheire said Rwanda fully recovered from the deadly civil war and Somalia would follow suit.

For his part, Rwandan Prime Minister Ngirente has commended the progress achieved by the Somali government.

The meeting was also attended by Somalia’s State Minister Foreign Affairs, officials from the office of PM Kheire as well as Rwandan State Ministers Foreign Affairs and Justice.

Prime Minister Kheire is expected to meet with Rwandan President Paul Kagame on Monday.
