Somali Police Arrests Two suspected Alshabab Assassins in Mogadishu

Somali police has arrested two suspected Alshabab assassins after shootout in wadajir district of Mogadishu on Wednesday afternoon.

The two men shot dead an elder named Hilowle Hefow Hussien in wadjir district of Mogadishu after he stepped out a mosque in wadjir district of Mogadishu on Wednesday afternoon prayer.

Mayor and the Governor of Mogadishu Sheikh Yousuf Jimalle   praised the arrest and said he will give $5000Usd financial reward for the police men who involved the arrest. “Today is historic day. You have arrested these young criminals who kill people even after prayers. Justices will now prevail and from this I want to congratulate to the police men who involved the shootout and have arrested the criminals. I will give $5000 as reward” said the mayor.

The both men who were displayed with at least one pistol got leg shots each and one of them lied down on the ground.

Alshabaab frequently make assignations in Mogadishu but most of time mange to escape.
