Somali refugees in Yemen are facing deteriorating situation says chairperson Repatriation Committee

Dahabo Abdi farah , the chairperson Repatriation Committee of Yemen Refugees speaking to Goobjoob News has expressed alarm at the deteriorating situation in Yemen, which is affecting vulnerable Somali refugees.
The violence has forced dozens of mainly Somali refugee families to flee from their and some them are staying with relatives or friends.
“Somalis in Yemen were casual workers, men were car washers while ladies were maidservants but now they have nothing eat” she noted.
“Several of Somali refugees in Yemen have sustained injuries, some are seriously injured”
Speaking about voluntary repatriation she said that they have so far registered 740 families who are willing return home without condition.
She called Somali government and its people to help brotherly Somali refugees in Yemen.
