Somali security forces “foil” assassination attempt in Mogadishu

The security forces have seized a vehicle, which was reportedly fitted with powerful explosives that were to be used in the foiled assassination attemp.
The car belonging to a commander of SNA was allegedly intended to assassinate the officer according the security officials.
It was not established whether the security forces arrested anyone in connection with the vehicle displayed to media.
Al shabaab, group has previously carried out numerous deadly attacks, including suicide blasts, assassination, ambush attacks on Government forces and AMISOM troops.
