Somalia has beefed up security in the capital Mogadishu ahead of Parliament Vote

Government tightens security in the capital, Mogadishu, ahead of parliament’s vote of confidence for Sharma’arke new cabinet.

The parliament has asked the Prime Minister to face a parliamentary session in which the list of the new cabinet and the program of the government will be presented.

January 27, 2015: Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Sharmarke appointed his 20 member cabinet.
