Somalia records additional 64 COVID-19 cases

GOOBJOOG NEWS/SOMALIA: Somalia has confirmed additional 64 cases of COVID-19 bringing the nationally tally to 15,658.
The Ministry of Health announced Wednesday that the positive cases were a result of 1,065 samples.
Majority of the cases -35 are from Banaadir region which encompasses the capital Mogadishu followed by Puntland with 23 cases. Galmudug and Somaliland had three cases each.
The country also recorded three more cases raising the death toll to 832.
Another 4 patients have succumbed to the virus, pushing the cumulative fatalities to 832.
A further 28 people recovered adding the number of recoveries to 7,661.
