Somalia to take part in Arab labour conference in Kuwait

Somalia will take part in the 42nd session of the Arab Labour Conference, slated to be held in Kuwait between 18-25 April.
A delegation led minister for labour Abdiweli Sheikh Mudey has touched down Kuwait city on Thursday
The minister and his delegation were worly welcomed by Somali ambassador to Kuwait, Abdulkadir Aamin Sheikh, Kuwait minister for labour and other kuwait politicians at the airport.
The General Chairman of Somali Congress of Trade Unions (ITUSS) Mohamed Osman Hajji, National Secretary General of Union of Somali Journalists (NUSOJ) Mohamed Ibrahim Pakistan and other delegates are with the minister in Kuwait.
This annually conference will be discussed on wide range issues including the obsticles facing labours, rights of the workers and how creat job opportunities for the young people.
The conference will mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Arab Labour Organization.
Participants at the multi-day conference will discuss a number of issues and elect a new director general for the pan-Arab organization.
