Somaliland forces seize the control of Sah-dheer locality

Somaliland forces have captured sax-dheer locality, the administrative capital of Khatumo state after heavy clashes between the two forces.

Casualties were reported though not known exactly, chief of staff of Somaliland forces who spoke to BBC Somali service said  that they have arrested  a number of people from sah-dheer, seized weapons and military vehicles.

Unconfirmed reports state that the president of Khatumo state Ali Khalif Galeyr has escaped to Ethiopia after the forces took over the control of the town.

Preparations of the inauguration ceremony of Ali Khalif Galeyr was going  on in the locality before it was taken over.
