Somaliland Parliament Approves Partial Ministers

Somaliland parliament yesterday approved 9 ministers and 2 assistant ministers in the new administration of Musa Bihi.

The session was attended by 61 members who earlier were addressed by the appointed ministers on their expected performances.

The ministers appointed and ratified by the parliament of the breakaway region include:-

Ministers

2	Education and Science	Yassin Mohamud Hiir
3	Social Services and Labour	Hinda Abdi Gaan
4	Religious and Endowments	Sheikh Khalif Abdillahi Ahmed
5	Public Land and Housing	Abdirashid Haji Duale
6	Health	Dr. Hassan Ismail Yussuf
7	Water Resources	Suleiman Ali Koore
8	Agriculture	Ahmed Mumin Seed
9	Communication and Technology	Dr. Abdiweli Sheikh Abdillahi Suufi

Assistant Ministers

1	Veterinary and Fishery	Yurub Abiib Abdi
2	Information	Mohamed Muse Abees

The expected Somaliland ministerial posts to be filled are 32 ministers.

Separately, president Muse Bihi yesterday appointed 4 directors in key ministries.

The new directors will serve in the vital ministries of religion, education, investments, finance and health.
