Baidoa Residents Worry About The Striking Public Transport Drivers

Some Baidoa residents showed their concern over the disruption of the movement of people and public vehicles caused by the striking drivers and conductor s of the public vehicles working the road linking Baidoa and Mogadishu.
The Drivers are on strike for seven days demanding the dismantlement of road blocks by armed men dressed in military uniform.
Some of the residents who contacted Goobjoog FM confirmed that the strike become challenge to the traders and other different parts of society including patients wanted seek medical treatment from Mogadishu.

Road blocks has been a major issue in Somalia already murky situation, this is worsened by bad roads and lack of infrastructure for more than 20 years, thus hampering trade and development.
