Sudan and Somalia Sign Executive Information Program Agreement

Sudan and Somalia have signed an Information Executive Program Agreement, in the presence of Minister of Information, Dr. Ahmed Bilal. The Undersecretary of the Information Ministry, Abdul-Majid Haroun, signed for Sudan while the Secretary General of the Somali Information Ministry, Abdul-Razig Ali, signed for his country.

Haroun said in a press statement following the signing ceremony that the agreement includes the cooperation and exchange of visits and experiences in the media fields.

He affirmed the ministry’s keenness to implement the program toward strengthening the information relations between Sudan and Somalia.

Meanwhile, the Somali official welcomed the cooperation with the Sudanese media institutions and appreciated the Ministry of Information for its efforts to promote the joint cooperation.

He expressed pleasure over the visit, describing it as important and represents big step in the progress of the Sudanese – Somali cooperation.
