Sudan and Yemen give scholarships to Somali students

The federal government of Somalia has presented a scholarship  chances from Universities in and out of the country to Somali students.

The ministry of culture and higher education in a statement said that  it received scholarships from Yemen, Sudan as well as Universities within the country.

The director of the ministry Ismail Yussuf Osman stated that over 200 students are expected to benefit from the opportunity in hand adding that exams will set to select the best students.

The director also stated that a committee will be appointed to effectively manage the process.

Sudan is the leading nation to offer scholarship opportunities to Somali students since the collapse of the central government.
