Suicide bomber blows himself up near security checkpoint in Beletweyne

A suicide bomber has detonated himself near a security control point in Beleyweyne town with cases of casualties feared.

Casualties are reported including Somali security forces manning the check point as well some local people who were in the vicinity when the explosion occurred. Unknown numbers of people are said to be injured in the attack.
