Suspected US Spy Drone Crashes In Kula-Rooble Locality Of Bay Region

Reports Bay region indicate that a suspected US Spy drone has crashed Kula-Rooble locality under Buur-Hakaba district on Sunday.
Locals of Kula-Rooble village confirmed incident and that the area was cordoned off by Al-Shabab fighters who overrun the area.
Buur-Hakaba deputy district commissioner, Hussein Mohamed who gave exclusive interview to Goobjoog News said that unmanned plane has crashed on the outskirt of Bur-Hakabatown earlier on Sunday.
“The drone crashed in one of the farms of Kula-Rooble village and it seems it was carrying out scouting on territories controlled by Al-Shabab” he said.
It is not clear the factor cause that the falling down of the drone but it seems that it has faced mechanical problems.
The pro-Al-Shabaab Andal us radio, meanwhile, quoted a group leader as saying that his group had seized a U.S. drone which had been on a reconnaissance mission above territories captured earlier by Al-Shabaab.
Several senior Al-Shabaab members have been killed by U.S. drones in the past months.
In September, the group’s leader Ahmed Godane Abu Zubeyr was killed in a drone attack in southern Somalia.
Al-Shabaab, which is waging an insurgency against the Somali government, has recently suffered several significant blows, losing most of its strongholds in southern and central Somalia to government and African Union troops.
