The newly approved cabinet takes its first meeting

The newly approved council of ministers have taken their first meeting in Mogadishu, on Tuesday.
The prime minister of Somali government, Omar Abdirashid, who was chairing the meeting noted that they discussed wide range issues including how the outgoing ministers would hand over the offices to the newly approved ministers.
“We scheduled to hold handing over ceremonies for five ministries each day in the course of seven days” prime minister said.
Omar appointed committee under the leadership of the deputy Prime Minister, Mohamed Omar Arte to chair the handing over ceremonies.
