Parliament To Approve The New Council of Ministers on Saturday

The federal parliament of Somalia which took its normal session on Thursday has called upon Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid to bring the newly appointed cabinet minsters before the parliament for approval on the 31st January.
Abdullahi Haji Ali who was among the MPs who spoke from the podium asked for the appearance of newly announced cabinet before the house
“The parliament has granted fourteen days for prime minister Abdirashid Omar to form his government which will expire on the 31st of January therefore the prime minister has to take his cabinet 31st to the legislative house for vote of confidence” MP Abdullahi said.
This comes two days after the appointment 20 ministers whom among them were new faces.

This is the second cabinet ministers appointed by the prime minister since he came to power, the previous ministers were rejected on merit according to the MPs.
