Three civilians killed as government forces trade fire in the outskirts of Mogadishu

GOOBJOOG NEWS|AFGOOYE: At least three people were killed this morning in ex-control Agooye area after two government forces exchanged fire in an alleged row over toll collections.

Sources in the area located in the outskirts of Mogadishu said the two sides differed over control of a checkpoint. Security forces are known to illegally collect money from private and public transport vehicles in such points.

The victims were civilians who were on their morning business when they were caught on the crossfire.
