GOOBJOOG NEWS|HARGEISA: Two children aged four and six years were killed Saturday morning following a fire break-out in Somaliland’s capital, Hargeisa.

Sources in the town said the fire whose cause was not immediately established broke out in a neighbourhood near Hargeisa airport. Residents of Daami estate where the incident happened said the fire had spread to other houses within the area.

Firefighters from the municipality however managed to put off the blaze. The bodies of two children were recovered from the scene.
