Two clans reach peace agreement in Rakko district

Reports from Karkar region state that a reconciliation conference held for two brotherly clans who fought in Rakko district, was concluded successfully.
The meeting which was attended by delegates of the two clans, traditional elders, clerics and the vice president of semi-autonomous regional state of Puntland,Abdihakiin Abdirahman Amay has made progress and mutual understanding.
The sides discussed about all the issues that caused their previous fighting and lastly they reached peace agreement which both sides termed it fruitful decision.
Speaking at the gathering, the vice president applauded the sides for their sincerely negotiation which led both sides to sign peace agreement.
“We are highly welcome the peace agreement reached by these brotherly clans” he said.
