Two killed, three injured in road accident in Gebiley, Somaliland

GOOBJOOG NEWS|SOMALILAND: Two people were killed while three others were seriously injured Friday night in a grizzly road accident in Arabsio locality in Gebiley district, Somaliland.

According to local sources, the accident involved a luxury car that veered off the road on the tarmac hitting a huge tree on the side of the road, killing the two instantly and injuring three others.

The Regional Traffic Police based in Gabiley arrived at the scene and rushed the injured to a hospital in Somaliland.

The police attributed the accident to overspeeding by the driver, adding that all the occupants in the ill-fated car were young adults.
