UAE delegation visits Puntland

A delegation led the Ambassador of United Arab Emirates to Somalia Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi, reached Garowe, the capital administrative of semi-autonomous regional state of puntland.
The delegates were warmly welcomed at the airport by some of Puntland ministers, officials from the presidential palace of Puntland state.
The ambassador and his delegates took meeting the president of puntland Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas at his office in Garowe.
After the meeting, the president of Puntland and the ambassador held joint press conference in Garowe giving full details about their meeting.
“We are very much delighted to see delegation led by Ambassador Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi, visiting Puntland and we have discussed about wide range issues including the relationship between of two parts and several developmental projects that will be implemented soon in Putland” president Gaas said as he was the first to address the media.
On the other hand ambassador Mohamed stated that they soon implement developmental projects in Puntland which will take part in development of the regional state.
During their meeting, the two sides also hammered out the potential for mutual cooperation in various fields.
