Upper House Interim Speaker names 6-member committee

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU:The interim speaker of the Upper House of the People Mohamed Ali Yusuf Gagaab has appointed a 6-member committee tasked with organizing the election of the Speaker of the Upper House and his two deputies.

Meanwhile, the Interim Speaker of the 11th House of the People Abdisalam Ahmed Dhabancad has also appointed a 10-member Organizing Committee for the election of the Speaker of the House of the People.

Below are the names of the committee members appointed for the election of the Speaker of the Upper House: –

1. Said Abdi Hussein (Cawke)- Somaliland

2. Aden Abdinasir – South West

3. Farhan Ali Hussein – Puntland

4. Abdirizak Abdi Mohamed – Jubbaland

5. Samsam Dahir Mohamud – Galmudug

6. Samsam Abdullahi Ahmed- Hirshabelle
