Wadani party chairman Hirsi Hassan quizzed by police over remarks President Muse Bihi holds Djiboutian passport

GOOBJOOG NEWS|HARGEISA: Police in Hargeisa Friday questioned Wadani party chairman over his claims that the break-away region’s President Muse Bihi hold a Djibouti.

Hassan who was flanked by senior party officials and MPs claimed said in a public forum last week Bihi held a Djibouti passport.

Neither has the ruling Kulmiye party nor the government responded to the allegations.

Hassan told journalists on his way to the CID headquarters that the summoning was intimidation by the government to silence the opposition.

Hassan was elected as chairman of Wadani party in November 2021.
