We shall provide work opportunity for youth defectors from Alshabab says Hirshabelle Leader

Somali youths that abandons Alshabab fighters and defects to the government side will be given job opportunities, rehabilitation service and technical education as stated by HirShabelle State administration.

State president Mohamed Abdi noted that he is ready to receive defectors from Alshabab fighters with job opportunities among others.

“We are ready to welcome our deceived youths to rehabilitate them, provide them with job opportunities, teach them handwork and rectify their misconstrued religious outlook. We shall even employ them as state soldiers” said president Waare.

He said that his administration will destroy illegal checkpoints manned by Alshabab fighters targeting innocent civilians and imposing illegal road blocks against them.

“As you are aware, there is security operation to fight with Alshabab fighters. They blocked roads feeding the public and killings of innocent people” said president Waare.

A week ago Somali government forces with Amisom troops started operation to open road blocks between Beledwen, Mahaas and Matabaan towns in Hiran province, HirShabelle State.
