Somali Foreign ministry to speed up investment opportunities

Federal government foreign Minister Abdirahman Duale Beilah stated that his ministry is committed to speed up reconstruction and investment opportunities in the country.

The minister and delegations are attending conference held in Turkey where United Nations, Turkish authorities and diplomats were meeting.

Addressing the participants the Minister said that Somalia has the longest coastline in Africa, fertile land suitable for agriculture, rivers for irrigation and livestock ideal for local and foreign investment.

On the other hand Mr. Beyle had special meeting UNDP and discussed with the challenges and the progress in the country.

The minister thanked UNDP and other United Nation’s agencies carrying out developmental activities in Somalia.

UNDP promised implementation of developmental projects in Somalia to combat poverty, hunger and ignorance.
